Salmon day tickets are available through FishPal or Carlisle Tourist Information Office. The association also publishes fishing maps showing the beats and parking places.

Full member and City Waters salmon season permit
Includes a £35 initial application fee. Combined non-migratory trout and coarse season permit costs £45; junior salmon season permits cost £17.50, and juvenile weekly and season permits are free subject to the stated conditions.

Coarse fishing on English rivers is closed from 15 March to 15 June inclusive. That's the law for coarse fish on rivers — it's not a club rule, and game-fishing seasons work differently.
